Ashley McAlister

Ashley McAlister is a dedicated educator with a diverse background in teaching and academic research. Currently serving as a STEAM Teacher at Oxford Preparatory Academy Charter Schools since August 2021, McAlister has previously held teaching positions at Anneliese Schools and Carlsbad Unified School District, along with experience as a substitute teacher in Fountain Valley School District. Prior to transitioning to education, McAlister worked as an Account Manager at Randstad Technologies US and a Personnel Consultant at Medix ™. Additional experience includes roles as a Kids Club Attendant at 24 Hour Fitness, a Tutor at California State University, Long Beach, and an Undergraduate Researcher in the CSULB Reproductive Biology Lab, focusing on ovarian function in Siberian hamsters. McAlister holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from California State University, Long Beach, a Multi Subject Credential from Cal State TEACH, and an Early Childhood Education Certificate from UCLA Extension.
