Meriç Fırat

Meriç Fırat has worked in various roles since 2013. Meriç began their career as a Student Intern at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in 2013. In 2017, they moved to imec as a Researcher PHD Student. Meriç is currently employed at Oxford PV as an Engineer since 2022.

Meriç Fırat began their education in 2006, when they obtained a High School Diploma from Istanbul Erkek Lisesi. From 2011 to 2014, they studied Elektro- und Informationstechnik at the Technical University of Munich, earning a Bachelor degree. Meriç then continued their studies at the same institution, obtaining a Master degree in 2017. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Visiting Scholar/Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD at KU Leuven in the Faculty of Engineering Science. In December 2022, they will also obtain a certification in High-Performance Photovoltaics from Delft University of Technology.
