Sophie Guirado

Sophie Guirado has held various positions in the scientific and engineering fields since 2008. Sophie began their career with an apprenticeship as a Technical Scientist at Solvay in 2008. Sophie then worked as a Data Warehouse Analyst at Abbott Laboratories Fournier Ireland in 2010. Later that same year, they took on a Technical Scientist role at Solvay. In 2012, they were hired as an R&D Chemist at U-POL LTD. In 2014, they were employed as a Scientist at Oxford Advanced Surfaces Limited, where they developed formulations and tested properties for customer applications. Finally, in 2017, they joined Oxford PV as an Advanced PV Characterisation Associate Engineer, Senior Technician, and Lab Technician.

Sophie Guirado's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry from the University of Montpellier from 2005 to 2008, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Formulation Engineering from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III from 2008 to 2009, and an MSc in Advanced Materials from the University of Surrey from 2016 to 2022.
