Hannah Frost

Hannah Frost has been working as a Mechanical Engineer since 2019, when they joined GHD. Prior to that, they held an Engineering Intern role at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare from 2017 to 2019, and an Engineering Intern role at LONGVELD LIMITED from 2016 to 2017. Before that, they were Assistant Supervisor and Waitress at The Orchard Cafe from 2015 to 2016 and Waitress at The Sugar Bowl Cafe from 2013 to 2015. During their time at LONGVELD LIMITED, they streamlined the quality assurance processes and completed documentation for large projects, researched and developed a plan for implementing material traceability systems into the workshop practices, worked with tradesmen to create a clear user manual encompassing installation through to troubleshooting, and completed load calculations and 3D modelling to design pressure vessels and lifting equipment (Inventor Pro). At The Orchard Cafe, they further developed their communication and team work skills, and their leadership abilities were strengthened after being promoted to the role of assistant supervisor within a short period of time. At The Sugar Bowl Cafe, they gained the work experience required to get their first job and developed their communication and team work skills during the very busy weekend hours. Hannah was relied upon to both open and close the caf\u00e9 during their last summer working there. Hannah Frost is currently working at Oxford Space Systems as a Mechanical Engineer, starting in 2022.

Hannah Frost began their educational journey in 2010 when they attended Hamilton Girls High School, graduating in 2014 with their NCEA Level 3. Hannah then began their undergraduate studies at The University of Auckland in 2015, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. Hannah is currently pursuing their Masters of Aerospace Engineering at The University of Auckland, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
