Juan Castillo, MSc, MBA has a rich work experience in the space sector. In 2020, they joined Oxford Space Systems as a Business Development Manager, where they work to make the company a global leader in deployable antennas for Space. From 2016 to 2020, they were employed by Honeywell Aerospace as a Quality Engineering Manager and a Principal Project Engineer. From 2011 to 2016, they were employed by COM DEV EUROPE (CDE) as a Systems Engineer and Business Development, where they managed bid and proposal writing for the Data-links products and worked on the development of payloads for various missions. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Electronic Design Engineer for Curtiss Wright Controls. From 2003 to 2009, they worked as a Hardware Development Engineer for RadioFrame Networks.
Juan Castillo completed a BSc in Electronic Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar in 2002. From 2009 to 2012, they obtained an MSc in Digital Signal Processing from Queen Mary University of London. In 2013, they began a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Alliance Manchester Business School, which they completed in 2016. In 2019, they obtained a Satellite Communications and Navigation: Technologies, Markets and Applications certificate from the University of Oxford, Department for Continuing Education. In 2022, they obtained a Competitive Strategy and Innovation certification from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
