Adam Benson

Adam Benson is a seasoned executive in the sports industry with a focus on commercial and marketing strategies. Currently serving as the Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer at Oxford United Football Club since February 2023, Adam previously held the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Wasps from February 2020 to February 2024 and at Gloucester Rugby from June 2018 to December 2019. Adam's experience also includes a tenure as Commercial Director at Reading Football Club from September 2012 to May 2018, where responsibilities encompassed devising business development strategies, overseeing ticketing, retail, hospitality, partnerships, and marketing. Earlier roles include Head of Sales - Sponsorship & Hospitality at Masters Football International and Commercial & Events Manager at Arundel Promotions. Adam Benson's foundational education was completed at Highgate School between 1989 and 1996.
