Thomas Deighton

Thomas Deighton is a dedicated individual currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Geography at the University of Oxford, expected to graduate in June 2025. In May 2023, Thomas took on the role of First Team Vice-Captain and Development and Outreach Officer at the Oxford University Association Football Club, overseeing reserve teams and coaching provisions. Since December 2018, Thomas has served as a Level 7 FA qualified football referee for Sheffield & Hallamshire County FA, officiating matches for youth players. Additionally, Thomas co-founded and serves as Vice President of the Regent's Park College ESG Society, while managing budgets as Treasurer of the Oxford Energy Society. Previous experience includes content creation for Football For Future, mentoring at Camp America, tutoring with MyTutor, and serving as an ambassador for the School of Geography and the Environment at the University of Oxford. Thomas also participated in a micro-internship with the Oxford Programme in Sustainability Leadership and led a consultancy project with the Oxford Strategy Group.
