Mary Hamley

Mary Hamley has extensive experience in the publishing industry, currently serving as the Head of Primary Digital Reading and Literacy and Workplace Coach at Oxford University Press since March 2012. Previously, Mary held the position of Senior Strategic Publisher at Pearson from September 1998 to March 2012, and worked as a Senior Publisher at Orchard Books from July 1996 to September 1998, specializing in commissioning children's books. Mary Hamley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Literature from the University of Warwick and has additionally completed education at West Herts College.
