Van Howell

Van Howell is an experienced freelance illustrator, graphic designer, and art educator with a career spanning over several decades. Since June 1966, Van has worked as a freelance artist, specializing in illustration, caricatures, and graphic design, contributing to various projects including books, CDs, and promotional materials for non-profit organizations. Van has served as an art tutor for differently-abled students, enabling successful admissions to art schools, and has taught at several institutions, including Dowling College and Barnet College. Engagements include work with ALM Communications, creating marketing materials, and involvement in public outreach for environmental concerns with the Green Task Force. Educational background includes studies at the New York Studio School and the Art Students League, with foundational education received in Westhampton Beach public schools.
