Benjamin Naecker has a diverse work experience: they worked as an Engineer at Oxide Computer Company in 2021; at Q Bio, they first held the position of Software Engineer from 2018 and later became Lead Software Engineer; they also worked as a Graduate Student at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2011. At Stanford, they designed, implemented, and analyzed data for studies that explored visual processing and computation in the vertebrate retina, and created and maintains most of the lab software that is used for collecting, storing, visualizing, and analyzing experimental data. Finally, Naecker worked as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin in 2010.
Benjamin Naecker completed their Bachelor of Arts in Cognitive Science and Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania in 2009. Benjamin then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Neuroscience, which they obtained from Stanford University in 2017. No additional certifications were obtained.
