Eliza Weisman

Eliza Weisman is a Software Engineer currently working at Oxide Computer Company since January 2024. Prior to this role, Weisman spent over six years at Buoyant from June 2017 to November 2023, where significant contributions included building Linkerd, an open-source network stack for microservices, and developing fault-tolerant, high-performance systems software utilizing Rust and Scala. Earlier experience includes serving as a Darkroom Technician at Allegheny College from January 2012 to 2013, where responsibilities involved preparing darkroom chemicals, maintaining equipment, and instructing fellow students. Additionally, Weisman was a member of the Youth Conservation Corps in the summer of 2011, serving as a Computer Art Lab Monitor. Weisman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Environmental Science from Allegheny College, completed in 2016.
