Julio Gaitán

Julio Gaitán is the current Head of Sales at OXIO. Prior to this, they were the Chief Executive Officer at Grupo Accionplus from March 2017 to August 2019. From January 2015 to March 2017, Gaitan served as the Corporate and Government Director at Millicom. Julio was also the Director of MC at LG Electronics from August 2009 to December 2012.

Gaitan has also had experience in the Epicor Software company, where they served as the Manager of Sales and Business Development from January 2000 to January 2001, and later as the Manager of Sales and Channels for Mercosur from January 1998 to January 1999.

In addition to their professional experience, Gaitan is also the Founder of Education Investment Fund, which they started in April 2012 and ran until December of 2018. Julio has also served as the Senior Director of International Sales for Kyocera Wireless Corp from May 2001 to August 2007, and as the International Sales Director for Kyocera from May 2001 to August 2009.

Julio Gaitán has a Bachelor of Arts from Universidad de los Andes and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Julio Gaitán reports to Nicolas Girard, CEO & co-Founder. They work with Dmitriy Stolyarov - Research & Development, Monica Donneys - VP, People, and Alejandra Macias - Customer Service Project Manager.
