Genevieve Flores-Haro, MPA, currently serves as the Trustee/Clerk for the Oxnard Union High School District, a position held since December 2022, focusing on fostering collaboration among stakeholders to enhance student outcomes. As Associate Director at the Mixteco Indigena Community Organizing Project since April 2016, Genevieve provides strategic leadership and oversees significant policy advocacy and fund development initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a Casework Manager for the U.S. House of Representatives from August 2013 to April 2016, where Genevieve facilitated communication between constituents and federal agencies, achieving substantial benefits for veterans and social security recipients. Earlier roles encompassed educational positions within the Oxnard Union High School District and a political organizing role for the National Stonewall Democrats. Genevieve holds a Masters in Public Administration and a BA in Psychology, both from the University of Southern California.
