Eric Myers has a strong background in electrical design engineering and research. Eric is currently working as a Senior Power Electronics Engineer at OXOS Medical. Prior to this, they worked for Wahoo Fitness as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer from February 2021 to June 2023. Before that, they served as a Lead Electrical Design Engineer at Xstrahl from September 2018 to January 2021. Eric also has experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology, where they were responsible for designing a low-cost modular communication platform for utility sensors and energy devices. Eric worked as an Electrical Design Engineer at ADTRAN from January 2015 to August 2016, where they designed and maintained custom embedded systems for telecommunication applications. Eric has also conducted research as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Auburn University and Nordex, focusing on power distribution networks and pitch and yaw systems for wind turbines. Additionally, they were a Youth Ambassador for the Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals. Eric is highly skilled in hardware design, PCB layout, and functional testing.
Eric Myers completed their education with a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they achieved between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they attended Auburn University from 2009 to 2014, where they pursued a degree in Wireless Electrical Engineering (Hardware). Additionally, they briefly studied Physics at the University of Hamburg from 2012 to 2013. Lastly, Eric Myers obtained their International Baccalaureate from an unknown institution between 2005 and 2009.
