Igor Zamlinsky

Igor Zamlinsky has a long history of work experience in the engineering field. In 2019, they began working as a Software Designer at Micro C Imaging. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Kickr Design as a Design Engineer, where they worked directly with customers to bring a wide variety of concepts and ideas to production ready products, and developed a computer vision based positioning system. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Lead Mechanical Engineer at TechJect Inc., where they were responsible for mechanical engineering and design of micro air vehicles, quad-copters and other unique flight platforms. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Freefly Systems. From 2011 to 2013, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech's DREAMS Lab, where they developed a method of printing circuits and sensors into solid and flexible bodies, and designed a high resolution micro stereo lithography 3d printer. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech's Mechatronics Lab, where they designed and built a quadrotor helicopter with variable flight geometry, created CAD models, simulations, controller board, basic control software, and carbon fiber airframe, and researched MEMS and optics. Additionally, from 2011 to present, they have been the Founder and CTO of ZPM Ltd. Co., where they designed, prototyped, and tested the core technology behind a crowd funded, commercial quality, consumer espresso machine, and holds multiple patents on key systems.

Igor Zamlinsky obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering and Robotics from Virginia Tech in 2010.
