Matthew Hawes

Matthew Hawes is a Senior Application Engineer at Oxford Technical Solutions Ltd since February 2022, with previous experience as an Algorithm Engineer at WheelRight from January 2018 to January 2022, where Matthew designed algorithms and models for regression and classification problems in tyre management systems. Prior to this, Matthew served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Sheffield from September 2014 to December 2017, focusing on projects related to Bayesian tracking, array signal processing, machine learning, and data fusion. Matthew holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electronic Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Electronic and Communications Engineering, both from The University of Sheffield.
