Roman Francisco Vidal Acosta

Roman Francisco Vidal Acosta is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in software development and technical leadership. Currently serving as a Senior .NET Developer at OXXO GAS since January 2023, Roman focuses on creating models for text recognition to automate data capture in fuel transaction processes. Previously, as a Technical Lead at Chubb, Roman led a team in implementing a payment gateway for Scotiabank and played a crucial role in project collaboration. Roman also has experience leading teams at Ingeniería y Desarrollo en TI iDi S.A. de C.V. and Oilsoft, where Roman managed large development teams and specialized in solutions for the oil and gas industry. Roman began a career in 2003 as a Software Developer at IDINET and has a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Universidad Interamericana para el Desarrollo and a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Villahermosa Technological Institute.
