Karen Gilbert

Karen Gilbert has over 20 years of experience in marketing and communications. Karen is currently working as the Head of Marketing at Oxygen Finance since April 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Marketing at Embrace Digital from January 2021 to April 2022. Karen also has experience as a marketing communications specialist, specializing in content generation, customer experience, and advocacy as a contractor from January 2019 to January 2021. Karen served as a Marketing Manager at Converge Technology Specialists from June 2015 to December 2016. Karen has also held various marketing roles at Basware UK, including Marketing Communications Manager from September 2012 to September 2014, Head of Marketing from December 2008 to September 2012, and Marketing Manager - Data Capture from September 2007 to December 2008. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Digital Vision Ltd from September 2006 to September 2007 and as an Account Manager at Refinery Marketing Communications from September 2005 to August 2006. Karen began their career as an Account Manager at Axon Garside | HubSpot Diamond Partner, where they worked from November 1998 to September 2005.

Karen Gilbert attended Durham University from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Physics. Karen then proceeded to attend the University of York from 1995 to 1997, where they pursued a degree in Physics and Business Management.
