Jamie James

Jamie James has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple industries. Jamie currently holds the position of Managing Partner at Greensoil Building Innovation Fund since January 2014. Jamie is also the Director at Oxygen8, a role they started in January 2021. In addition, they serve as a Board Observer at Miru Smart Technologies, starting in October 2021.

Jamie has previously held directorial positions at Amatis Controls, SensorSuite Inc., Electriq Power, Goby, dPoint, and TowerLabs@MaRS. Jamie founded TowerLabs@MaRS in 2010 and worked as a director at the other companies.

Prior to their director roles, Jamie worked as a Sustainability Adviser at Tridel from an unspecified date in 2002 until January 2014. Jamie'stenure at Goby as a director ended in September 2021, and at dPoint, it ended in 2015. Jamie James received a Bachelor's degree from Brown University, where they attended from 1985 to 1989. They then pursued a higher education at Yale University, attaining a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from 1997 to 1999.
