Karen McNemar

Interim Chief Financial Officer at Oxys

Karen McNemar has a wealth of experience in the medical device industry. Karen began their career in 1992 as a Buyer at St. Jude Medical. In 1995, they took a role as a Planner/Buyer at CR Bard. Two years later, they became a Manufacturing Engineer at CR Bard. In 1998, they moved to Tyco as a Manager, Operations Analysis and Project Engineering, Senior Project Engineer and Industrial Engineer. In 2007, they joined Covidien as Senior Director, Engineering Services, where they led a diverse team of talent to provide engineering services to R&D. Karen also managed daily R&D operations and partnered with R&D senior leadership to identify and deliver process and service improvements. Additionally, they served as Director, Office of Project Management and Director, R & D Process Management. In 2014, they moved to Medtronic as Senior Director, R&D Operations. Since 2018, they have served as Interim Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at IIoT-Oxys.

Karen McNemar obtained a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Karen also holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in June 2009, and an AMA's Certificate of Achievement in Project Management from the American Management Association, which they obtained in May 2002.
