Chris Willett

Chris Willett is a Senior GIS Specialist at OYA Renewables, where responsibilities include sourcing authoritative data and conducting analyses to identify optimal solar farm sites, as well as mapping socioeconomic data to inform business strategies. Prior experience includes roles as a GIS Specialist and Manager at Canacre, focusing on client engagement and tailored GIS solutions, along with leadership positions in various GIS capacities at the Toronto Financial District, where assessment of the PATH network and data collection tool configurations were key tasks. Previous roles at Osmose Utilities Services, Inc. and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development involved project coordination and mapping efforts to enhance utility inspections and identify underserved housing areas, respectively. Chris Willett holds a Master’s degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from the University at Buffalo.
