Kevin Hoong

Kevin Hoong is the Co-Founder and CEO of Oyen Pet Insurance, a digital pet healthcare platform in Southeast Asia. Prior to this, they worked as a Venture Partner at HYPE Asia and held the role of Market Lead for Southeast Asia. Additionally, they served as a Mentor for the Global Launch Program at 500 Startups, as well as a Mentor for the Singapore Tourism Accelerator at the Singapore Tourism Board. Kevin also worked as the Head of Expansion for Malaysia at Homage and held various roles at Airbnb, including Sales Lead for Airbnb for Work in Asia, Senior Partnership and Field Marketing in Southeast Asia, and Market Manager for Malaysia.

Kevin Hoong attended St. John's Institution Malaysia from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their High School Certificate. Kevin then went on to study at UCL from 2009 to 2012, earning a B.Sc (Hons) in Economics. Most recently, they pursued further education at the Chartered Insurance Institute from 2020 to 2022, culminating in a Dip CII in Insurance.
