Anil Goel

Anil Goel is currently an Advisor at OYO. Prior to this, they served as the Group Chief Technology & Product Officer from January 2016 to December 2021. In this role, they led the overall technology across group companies across the globe and helped establish OYO as the largest Technology Driven Real-Estate and Hospitality Company in the world. Anil hired 1K+ best-in-class innovators across 10+ locations across the globe and drove the company to a tech first/tech driven culture. Anil also built 30+ products supported by 500+ micro services.

During their time at OYO, they helped raise $3B+ in venture capital and grow the valuation 25x to $10B. Anil grew business 30X from <$100m annual to ~$3B annual and launched 20+ major countries across the world. Anil also led tech due diligence for multiple sizeable acquisitions and successfully integrated those in OYO. Additionally, they built multiple strategic partnerships and launched 4-5 new businesses.

Before joining OYO, Anil Goel served as the Director Engineering and CTO Customer Returns & Reverse Logistics at Amazon from January 2013 to December 2016. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer & Head of Product Management at HyperQuality, Inc. from January 2009 to December 2012.

Anil Goel's educational career includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, as well as an MBA in Marketing from the City University of Seattle.
