Nigel Downes

Nigel Downes is an experienced Tax Analyst currently with OZ Minerals since August 2015, where responsibilities include managing compliance requirements, preparing consolidated Income Tax and FBT Returns, conducting tax effect accounting calculations, and advising on taxation matters related to mining operations. Prior to this role, Nigel served as a Senior Tax Analyst at Deloitte from 2003 to 2007, specializing in tax consolidation and compliance for corporate entities, A-IFRS preparation, and managing client relationships. Nigel holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting/Finance from Flinders University, obtained between 2000 and 2002.
