Scott Ziegler

Scott Ziegler serves as the Director of Emergency Management for Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office since February 2014. In addition to this role, Ziegler is the Deputy Chief/EMT at the City of Port Washington Fire Department, overseeing operations and training since 2022. Ziegler also holds a Hazmat Technician position within Ozaukee County's Division of Emergency Management, specializing in hazardous materials response and water search and rescue. An experienced instructor, Ziegler has been involved with the Milwaukee Honor Guard Clinic and the Wisconsin State Fire Fighters Memorial Funeral Guard. Previous roles include Fire Lieutenant at North Shore Fire & Rescue and Safety Team Member at Elkhart Lake's Road America. Ziegler’s educational background includes an AAS in Fire Science from Milwaukee Area Technical College and certifications in Emergency Medical Technician and Fire Fighter Recruit from Waukesha County Technical College.
