Can Ozcan has a diverse range of work experience spanning over several years. Can has been working at Ozen Engineering, Inc. since 2005, initially starting as a Project Manager and eventually progressing to Director of Engineering, Engineer, and currently holds the position of Principal Engineer. At Ozen Engineering, Inc., Can Ozcan has specialized in ANSYS software as a certified Elite ANSYS Channel Partner.

In addition to their work at Ozen Engineering, Inc., Can Ozcan also worked at AKRO Engineering as General Manager starting from 2010.

Prior to these roles, Can Ozcan worked as a Product Engineer at Ford Motor Company from 2003 to 2005.

Before entering the industry, Can Ozcan gained research experience as a Research Assistant at Rice University Mechanical Engineering Department in 2002. Can focused on performing Fluid-Structure Interaction simulations using in-house developed code and gained expertise in modeling, coding, cluster systems, and Unix OS. Can also worked on Army parachute applications during this time.

Can Ozcan has a strong educational background in engineering. Can obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Can then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the same university from 2003 to 2005. Building on their previous education, Can went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Engineering at Boğaziçi University from 2014 to 2022.

In addition to their formal education, Can Ozcan has also obtained several certifications in specific technical areas. Can became an Ansys Certified Professional in various fields, including High-Frequency Technical in 2016, Low-Frequency Technical in 2017, and Structures Technical in 2021. Can also obtained the Ansys Associate Certification in Heat Transfer in Structures in 2023. Can has further enhanced their expertise through certifications such as Ansys Certified Professional in Lumerical - Base Technical in 2021 and Ansys Certified Professional in Sherlock - Base Technical in 2021. Can also completed the Musculoskeletal Modeling by Multibody Dynamics with a Focus on the Knee Joint course at Aalborg University in 2016.

Furthermore, Can Ozcan holds the Moldflow Insight Silver Level certification from Autodesk, which they acquired in 2010. Lastly, they have an Ansys Course Completion certificate for 3D Bifurcating Artery (Steady) from Ansys in 2023.
