Ruby Wake is the National Advocacy Manager at OzHarvest, focusing on systemic changes to food waste and food insecurity. With a rich background in sustainability, communications, and consumer behavior, Ruby has previously served as a Community Engagement Coordinator at the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, an Urban Sustainability Officer with Green Adelaide, and a Wild Futures Project Coordinator at Conservation Volunteers Australia. Ruby founded and coordinated Adelaide’s longest-running Repair Cafe and led community activism programs with Shift Australia. They hold dual Bachelor’s degrees in Science and Arts from the University of Adelaide, specializing in Ecology, Environmental Biology, Geography, and Environment.
