Rahul Somani

Rahul Somani is a Co-Founder at OZU, focusing on innovative projects since June 2022. Prior experience includes serving as Founding Partner at Special Circumstances from May 2020 to June 2022, where significant contributions were made in AI research, particularly in building neural networks for decoding cinematic concepts. As a Research Associate at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research from October 2018 to March 2020, Rahul developed automated data scraping and analysis pipelines using Python and R. Earlier roles include a Research Assistant position at the University of Chicago in 2017, where Rahul applied computational techniques to analyze market communication during earnings calls, and a Research Intern role at the same institute, contributing to data collection and visualization efforts. Rahul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from FLAME University, completed in 2018.
