Alan Pitt

Advisor at Precision Image Analysis

Dr. Alan Pitt is a Professor and Attending Physician at the Department of Neuroradiology at Barrow Neurological Institute.

Dr. Pitt did his undergraduate work at Stanford University. He received his medical degree at the University of Arizona. He did a research fellowship in molecular biology at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He completed post graduate clinical training in Neurology and his residency in Radiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Pitt completed his Neuroradiology fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute. He is board certified by the ACR, with CAQ in Neuroradiology, and is a senior member of the ASNR. Along with several patents, Dr Pitt has contributed to numerous scholarly presentations, books and research papers. His current interests center on health IT related initiatives relating to value based care delivery. He received a $100,000 innovation grant from Dignity Health and most recently, as a co-investigator, a $250,000 grant award from Watson Health.
