Michael Taylor

Dr. Mike Taylor is an experienced healthcare entrepreneur, physician executive, and investor who has worked with founding teams of technology-enabled service companies to create over $2 Billion of enterprise value since 2007. Mike founded and was the president, CEO and chairman of Medical Audit and Recovery Solutions where he led the development of an innovative payment integrity solution that enabled physicians and coders to more efficiently uncover healthcare waste fraud and abuse with early customers including Optum and Aetna. In less than 3 years, Mike negotiated the sale of MARS to publicly-traded MultiPlan.

Mike's first-hand startup experience was leveraged during his time as a venture partner at NY-based Health Enterprise Partners. Mike is a graduate of Harvard and went on to achieve his M.D. from Vanderbilt University. As a family practice doctor, he founded East Limestone Family Medicine in Northern Alabama which was later acquired by Athens-Limestone Hospital.
