Wayne Schmucker, PHR, currently serves as a Human Resources Generalist at the PA Chamber of Business and Industry since October 2022. Previously, Wayne held roles including HR Recruitment Sourcing Specialist at Gilchrist, where full life cycle recruiting and salary negotiations were managed, and Onboarding Specialist at RK&K, promoting the company's culture to new hires. Wayne also worked as an HR Business Partner for The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., overseeing recruitment for the Sales & Service E-commerce department, and as a Human Resources Coordinator at Rite Aid, addressing applicant drug tests and background checks. Early career experience includes serving as Training Facilitator II at Santander Bank, facilitating New Hire Orientations and conducting job fair interviews. Wayne holds a Master of Science in Organizational Development & Leadership from Saint Joseph's University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Eastern Mennonite University, with focused coursework in Business Administration and Psychology.

The Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry is the largest broad-based business advocacy association in Pennsylvania, serving businesses of all sizes and industry sectors throughout the Commonwealth. Our membership comprises nearly 50 percent of Pennsylvania's private workforce. Headquartered in Harrisburg, the PA Chamber serves as the frontline advocate for business at the state Capitol by influencing the legislative, regulatory and judicial branches of state government. The PA Chamber is dedicated to helping its members understand and easily follow the complexities of state and federal workplace regulations. Services include conferences, money-saving programs, and publications on a wide variety of issues important to the business community.
