James Scott

James Scott is a Principal Consultant at PA Consulting since July 2022, with prior experience as the Head of Policy for Test, Trace and Isolation at the Cabinet Office from November 2020 to July 2022. Between February 2017 and November 2020, James served as Head of Policy and Strategy at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. Earlier roles include Policy Officer at The Co-operative Party and Policy and Communications Officer for the London Fairness Commission at Toynbee Hall. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Human Geography from Queen Mary University of London, a Postgraduate Diploma in Local Government Management from Warwick Business School, an MA in International Development Social Policy with Distinction from The University of Manchester, and a BA in Human Geography with First Honours from the University of Liverpool.
