Marta Porta Comin

Marta Porta Comin has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Marta is currently employed by Paack as a Product Development Manager since December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Product Manager at Paack from October 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Paack, Marta worked at CGI as a Senior Consultant from May 2021 to September 2021, and as a Lead Consultant from April 2019 to April 2021. In their role as Lead Consultant, they were responsible for product management in the telecommunications sector, specifically in B2C fixed line. Marta'sresponsibilities included requirements engineering, program and project coordination, roadmap planning, onboarding lead, and team lead.

Marta also worked at Xpuls GmbH, an ALTEN Company, where they served as a Senior Consultant from January 2019 to March 2019, and as a Consultant from June 2017 to December 2018. In their roles, they were involved in automobile assembly planning for a German manufacturer in Charleston, USA, and supplier management for a German automotive manufacturer in Bockenem, Germany. Marta'stasks included optimizing logistics and restructuring a supplier's production plant to ensure timely delivery of components.

At BMW Group, Marta gained experience as a Master's thesis assistant at the Additive Manufacturing Center from June 2016 to December 2016. Marta'sresearch focused on evaluating the technological suitability level of Multi Jet Fusion for manufacturing 3D parts. Marta investigated the variables influencing the quality of printed parts and the reproducibility of the process.

Marta's work experience also includes an internship at General Cable as a Logistics Intern from July 2014 to September 2014. During this time, they were involved in processing customer orders, production planning, inventory analysis and optimization, and communication with suppliers.

Marta Porta Comin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. Marta then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Energie- und Prozesstechnik at the Technical University of Munich from 2014 to 2017. Prior to their higher education, Marta completed their Maturitätprüfung - Bachillerato suizo at Escuela Suiza de Barcelona from 1997 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Marta has obtained various certifications. Marta received a Product Analytics Certification from Pendo.io in March 2023. In May 2021, they obtained a PRINCE2® Practitioner Certificate in Project Management from PeopleCert and a PRINCE2® 6th Edition Foundation in Project Management from Perplexer in February 2021. Marta also holds a Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org, which they obtained in September 2020. In December 2019, they became a Certified SAFe 4 Agilist through Scaled Agile, Inc. Marta has also completed several online courses, including Electric Vehicles and Mobility on Coursera in December 2018, Excel 2016 Grundkurs on LinkedIn in November 2017, and Excel 2016/2013: Pivot-Berichte mit Datenmodell verbessern on LinkedIn in November 2017.
