Christopher Seah has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Christopher started their career as an Investor Relations Intern at WuXi AppTec in 2007. Following this, they worked as an M&A/Banking Intern at King & Wood Mallesons in 2009, where they gained experience in due diligence and researching commercial regulations. In 2010, Christopher became an M&A Intern at King & Wood Mallesons, performing due diligence on corporate financial statements and researching foreign regulatory M&A requirements. Christopher then joined Bingham McCutchen LLP as a Consulting Intern in 2014, where they conducted due diligence for Chinese clients and worked with agricultural interest groups. Christopher also served as a Judicial Extern at Orange County Superior Court in 2015, conducting legal research and analyzing felony law. In 2016, they worked as a Certified Law Student at UCI Intellectual Property, Arts & Technology Clinic, counseling documentary filmmakers and consulting for a startup movie screening platform. Christopher also worked as a Law Clerk at Keller/Anderle LLP in 2016, specializing in high stakes business litigation and performing legal research and writing. Christopher's most recent role was at PAAMCO Prisma, where they started as a Legal Counsel/Specialist in 2017, drafting legal documents and advising on regulatory and compliance matters. Christopher then progressed to an Associate Vice President role in 2019 and is currently working as a Vice President, Compliance & Legal, responsible for legal and compliance matters at the company.
Christopher Seah attended the Shanghai American School from 2006 to 2009, where they completed their high school education. Christopher then attended UC San Diego from 2009 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. In 2013, they furthered their education at the University of Southern California, receiving a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree. Christopher completed their legal education at the University of California, Irvine School of Law from 2014 to 2017, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
