Independent antibody reviews by the research community for the research community

In our lab, we spend a fortune every year on research antibodies that do not perform as promised in their data sheets. It is very expensive and time-consuming work testing your way through all the commercial antibodies that do not work before finding the one that does. There is an acute need for a tool for navigating the good, the bad, and the unspecific research antibodies. We have therefore started www.pAbmAbs.com, a database for antibody reviews. The site is independent and free from any commercial interests and we invite everyone to contribute. The pAbmAbs site has the format of a blog with comment strings for the individual antibodies. Here, you can find reviews on a variety of cellular markers. We hope that you will find the site useful and post your own antibody experiences.
