Chuck Swart

Chuck Swart currently serves as the Advanced Controls Team Manager at PACCAR, leading systems engineering and the development of innovative vehicle technologies focused on electrification, autonomy, diesel engines, and controls since November 2014. Prior experience includes roles such as Patent Officer, where management of the intellectual property portfolio was key, and Advanced Technology Project Lead Engineer, responsible for developing complex control systems using MATLAB and Simulink. Earlier positions also include Embedded Powertrain Development Supervisor and Lead Controls Engineer within the PACCAR Global Embedded Software Development Team. Previous engineering experience includes positions at VYCON and Gale Banks Engineering, where Chuck specialized in development and testing for automotive applications. Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from ITT Technical Institute and is pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering: Power at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, Chuck has a mechanical background with experience as a mechanic at C&S Mobile Auto Repair and Stroh's Automotive and Electric.
