Lisa Ritterskamp began their work experience in 1992 as a Teacher at Vincennes Community Schools, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they joined Pace Community Action Agency Inc. as an Energy Assistance and Client Services Program Manager. In this role, they also worked in an administrative capacity with the Weatherization Assistance Program. Lisa'straining program for the Energy Assistance Program was endorsed and recommended by the IHCDA auditor to other agencies in the state, and Lisa was asked to be a mentor to other agencies and present their outline to state agencies.

Lisa Ritterskamp obtained their education in a chronological order. In 1985, they attended Vincennes University, where they pursued an Associates Degree in Education/Math. Following this, from 1987 to 1989, they enrolled in Greenville University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Education. Lastly, between 2000 and 2001, Lisa pursued their Master's degree in Education Curriculum at Olivet Nazarene University.
