Allison Mendes

Director at Pace Credit Union

Allison Mendes is a Canadian businesswoman who serves as the director of Pace Credit Union. Allison has also served on the boards of Toronto Parking Authority and CreateTO.

Mendes began their career in the banking industry, working their way up to a senior position at Pace Credit Union. In January 2020, they were appointed to the board of directors of Pace Credit Union. In this role, they served on the finance and audit committee and the risk committee.

In July 2019, Mendes was appointed to the board of directors of the Toronto Parking Authority. In this role, they served on the nominating committee and was tasked with overseeing the implementation of corporate strategy by management and the investment of capital reserves. Allison resigned from TPA in March 2021 to join the board of CreateTO.

Allison Mendes has a ICD.D from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, an MBA in Finance from the Schulich School of Business - York University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute. Allison also has a Honours Bachelor of Science in Mathematics & Physics and a minor in Statistics from the University of Toronto. In addition, they have a certificate in Board Oversight of Strategy from the Institute of Corporate Directors, a certificate in Audit Committee Effectiveness from the Institute of Corporate Directors, a certificate in Boardroom Financial Essentials from the Institute of Corporate Directors, and a certificate in Enterprise Risk Management for Directors from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
