Tom Boucher has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tom started their career as a Mediation Advocate at Jesuit Volunteer Corps in 1993. From 1994 to 1995, they served as a Campaign Manager at the Committee to Elect Brian M. Cresta. Tom then worked as a Press Secretary & Legislative Aide for State Senator Richard R. Tisei from 1995 to 1997. Following that, they became a District Manager at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts – Registry of Motor Vehicles from 1997 to 1999. Tom then joined Sterling Hager, Inc. Public Relations, where they started as a Senior Account Executive and eventually became an Account Manager, managing a staff of five and generating significant annual billings for the agency. In 2003, they joined Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island as a Senior Manager, Communications and Public Affairs. During their tenure, they built a strategic communications department and managed a diverse staff. Tom also worked as a Consultant for Eponymous Communications and Blue Beyond Consulting, where they provided communications counsel and support to Fortune 500 companies. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Chief of Marketing and Development at PACE Organization of Rhode Island, responsible for growing participant census and revenue for the healthcare provider and insurer for older adults with complex needs.
Tom Boucher pursued their education in a chronological manner. In 1989, they attended Fairfield University where they studied Politics and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1993. After a significant gap, in 2015, they enrolled in the Bryant University - Executive Development Center, where they obtained a Project Management Certificate.
