Brian Cavalier has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as the Founder of Hovercraft Studios and then moving on to co-found cujoJS, where they played a role in creating and shaping the architectural toolkit for JavaScript applications. Brian also contributed to the development of wire.js and worked as a committer for the project. Brian has also worked as a Senior Software Architect at Nowait, Inc., a Software Engineer at Yelp, and a Principal Software Engineer at Seasoned. Brian was the Creator of Mostjs and served as an Advisor for the Neighborhood Resilience Project. Additionally, Brian co-edited Promises/A+, a standard for managing asynchronous JavaScript. Currently, they are working as a Principal Software Engineer at Paceline.
Brian Cavalier earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from West Virginia University in 1995. Brian went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, completing it in 1998.
