Leila Bruno

Facilitator at Pachamama Alliance

Leila Bruno has significant experience in education and environmental activism. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Naropa University since August 2013, Leila assists in a Buddhist Studies class within the Psychology department. As a facilitator for The Pachamama Alliance since 2008, Leila engages in promoting environmental sustainability. Previously, Leila founded and advocated for Friends of the Bow, a non-profit environmental organization active from January 1988 to January 1999, which is now known as the Biodiversity Conservation Alliance, dedicated to protecting endangered wildlife and landscapes in the Rocky Mountain region. Leila's educational background includes a Master's degree in English Language and Literature & Writing from the University of Wyoming (1972-1977) and completing a three-month practice and study retreat in Tibetan Vajrayana Buddhism at Vajradhatu Buddhist Seminary in 2000.
