Alvin Hom

Alvin Hom has a diverse work experience in the field of talent acquisition. Alvin started their career at J.M.I. as a recruiter and quickly became a top performer before leaving to start their own recruiting firm. Alvin then joined DirectStaffing, Inc. as Vice President and Co-owner, where they gained valuable experience in the dot-com era. Alvin later worked at Google as a Staffing Consultant before joining PacBio. At PacBio, they held multiple roles including Staffing Consultant, Manager, Senior Manager, Director, and eventually became the Head of Global Talent Acquisition. Throughout their career, Alvin has honed their recruiting skills and carries their own req load.

Alvin Hom has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco. Alvin has also obtained a certification titled "Understanding and Supporting Asian Employees" from LinkedIn in 2022.
