Arjun Prabhakar

Arjun Prabhakar is a highly experienced scientist specializing in biophysics and molecular biology. At Pacific Biosciences since February 2020, Arjun holds the position of Senior Scientist and previously served as a Scientist. Prior experience includes a role as a PhD Student Researcher at Stanford University School of Medicine, where Arjun investigated bacterial protein synthesis mechanisms using advanced single-molecule fluorescence techniques. Arjun's early career included internships at DuPont, University of California, Berkeley, and SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, where Arjun conducted significant research on enzyme activity and protein crystallography. Arjun earned a PhD in Biophysics from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley.
