Gregory Snyder

Gregory Snyder, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning various companies and academic institutions. Gregory is currently working as a Principal Scientist I in Customer Experience at Pacific Biosciences since November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Staff Automation Scientist at Eikon Therapeutics from August 2020 to November 2021.

Gregory has also worked at Pacific Biosciences in different roles, including Senior Staff Engineer in System Engineering, Reliability (2017-2020), Staff Engineer in System Integration and Verification (2014-2017), and Staff Engineer in Technical Support (2010-2014).

Before joining Pacific Biosciences, Gregory worked as a Licensing Assistant at Northwestern University (2009-2010) and as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of Chicago (2004-2009). Gregory began their career as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1996-2003) and an Honors Scholar at Applied Research Laboratories, The University of Texas at Austin (1993-1995).

Gregory Snyder, PhD obtained their Ph.D. in Physics (biophysics) from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1996 to 2003. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Physics and a B.A. in Plan II from The University of Texas at Austin, where they studied from 1990 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in various fields such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, data science, and industrial design.
