Jacob Brandenburg

Jacob Brandenburg has a diverse work experience in the scientific and biotechnology industry. Jacob started their career in 2009 as a Development Scientist at Integrated DNA Technologies and worked there until 2013. Jacob then joined DuPont Pioneer as a Research Associate, where they stayed until 2017. In 2017, they joined Pacific Biosciences as a Field Application Scientist II and worked in that role until 2020. Jacob then transitioned to the role of Sequencing Applications Sales Specialist at the same company and worked in that capacity until 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Market Development Lead, initially focusing on Plant and Animal Sciences, and later shifting to Agrigenomics, Plant Breeding, and Pangenomics.

Jacob Brandenburg attended the University of Iowa from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Chemical Engineering.
