Jocelyne Bruand

Jocelyne Bruand is a highly experienced bioinformatics scientist currently serving as a Senior Staff Bioinformatics Scientist at PacBio since February 2023. Prior to this role, Jocelyne held similar senior positions at Inscripta, Inc. from August 2020 to December 2022, and at Illumina from August 2012 to July 2020, where a range of roles from Bioinformatics Scientist 1 to Senior Bioinformatics Scientist were undertaken. A background in research includes a post-doctoral position and graduate studies at UC San Diego from 2005 to 2012, culminating in a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics. An undergraduate degree in Information & Computer Science was obtained from the University of California, Irvine, from 2001 to 2005, along with earlier education leading to a baccalaureat S at Lycee Francais La Perouse.
