Simon Maan

Simon Maan is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as the General Manager for Development and Delivery at Pacific Blue Australia since November 2021. Previous roles include Project Director at SIMEC Energy Australia, where responsibilities encompassed engineering development, grid connections, project approvals, and community engagement. Prior to this, Simon held key positions at Downer as Engineering Manager for Renewable Energy, overseeing the delivery of multiple solar and wind projects, and at Ceramet Solar as Engineering Manager, establishing new solar initiatives. Earlier in career history, Simon contributed as Chief Technology Officer at Solar Systems PTY LTD, focusing on technical innovation in renewable energy, and has held various engineering roles, including Project Engineering Manager at BAE Systems Australia. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Monash University and several management and leadership development programs.
