Sanaz Vakili

Sanaz Vakili currently serves as a Clinical Study Coordinator at Pacific Clinical Research Network since August 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a Clinical Trial Assistant at Optimal Clinical Trials and a Quality Assurance Officer at GMP Pharmaceuticals Ltd, both in 2023, as well as a Research Scientist at Auxilio Pharmaceuticals Limited where research focused on the effects of CBD on human coronary artery endothelial cells. Sanaz completed a PhD in Molecular Medicine and Pathology/Biomedical Science at the University of Auckland, examining a genetic variant associated with BMI and Type 2 Diabetes. Additional academic experience includes serving as vice president of the FMHS-PGSA and member of the International Committee while working as a research assistant. Prior to the PhD, Sanaz was a University Lecturer at Shiraz University of Medical Sciences and holds a Master of Science in Clinical Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
