Tania Valtierra

Tania Valtierra is an experienced mental health professional serving as the Director of MFT Training and Clinical Team Supervisor at Pacific Clinics since June 2018. Tania operates a private practice as a business owner, providing psychotherapy services to women of color in Long Beach, CA, focused on breaking unhealthy generational cycles. Previously, Tania worked as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the County of Orange, delivering outpatient substance abuse treatment for adults. Tania's career also includes roles as an Intensive Outpatient Bilingual Therapist at Community Family Guidance Center and as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at Exodus Recovery Inc. Tania holds a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with an MFT specialization from Mount Saint Mary's University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from California State University, Los Angeles, along with an Associate of Arts from East Los Angeles Community College.
