James Skinner

James Skinner, MBA, serves as the Director of Adult Education and Literacy at Temple College since June 2018, where additional roles include Adjunct Instructor of Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management and previous positions such as Interim Director and Associate Director of Adult Education and Literacy. Skinner also contributes as a Small Business Advisor at Pacific Community Ventures since June 2022 and has experience as Lead Business Consultant at Lean Forward Business Services from March 2016 to April 2023. A veteran of the US Army, Skinner served as a Cavalry Scout and Drill Sergeant from June 1985 to May 2013, participating in operations during Desert Shield/Storm, Iraqi Freedom, and Enduring Freedom. Academic credentials include an MBA in Human Performance Technology from Excelsior University and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, with ongoing doctoral studies in Business Administration at Liberty University.
